What This Means
Short circuit on refrigerator sensor (resistance reads 0 ohm); Open/disconnected refrigerator sensor (resistance reads infinity); Loose or damaged connector at CON8 pins 20-19
How to Fix

Step 1: Check connector between Main PCB and refrigerator sensor — if loose or disconnected, reconnect or repair connector and retest.

Step 2: Measure resistance at CON8 pins 20-19. If resistance = 0 ohm (short), replace the refrigerator sensor.

Step 3: If resistance = infinity (open), proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Check temperature vs. resistance using reference table: 23°F/-5°C=38kΩ, 32°F/0°C=30kΩ, 41°F/5°C=24kΩ, 50°F/10°C=19.5kΩ, 59°F/15°C=16kΩ. If resistance matches expected value for measured temperature, no problem — explain to customer.

Step 5: If resistance does not match expected table value, replace the refrigerator sensor.

Step 6: Check sensor harness connection integrity — if abnormal, reconnect or repair connector.

Step 7: If all above steps are OK and error persists, replace the refrigerator main PCB.
